Terms of Use

Effective August 3, 2026

These terms cover your use of The Bridgeline and readbridgeline.com. By subscribing or using the site, you agree to them. The Bridgeline is published by Hivetivity Inc..

The service

The Bridgeline is an email newsletter covering local news in Johns Creek, GA, published Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday mornings, along with a website that archives past issues.

Cost

It is free. There is no paywall, no metering, and no subscription fee. The newsletter is funded by local sponsors, and sponsored placements are identified as such.

Subscriptions

Subscribe with an email address you control. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every issue. We may remove an address that hard-bounces repeatedly or that is reported as spam, since continuing to send to it damages delivery for everyone else.

Content and copyright

The writing, layout, and original photography in The Bridgeline are ours. You are welcome to quote a passage with attribution and a link, forward an issue to a neighbour, or share a link on social media. Republishing a full issue, or using our content to train a commercial model without permission, is not permitted.

Public records, agendas, and government documents we quote are not ours and carry their own status.

Accuracy and corrections

We work from public records and primary sources and we try hard to get it right. We still get things wrong sometimes. When we do, the correction runs in the next issue and states the original error plainly, rather than quietly editing the archive. Send corrections to [email protected].

Nothing here is legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. Verify anything you are going to act on, particularly meeting times, deadlines, and filing dates.

Links to third-party sites

We link to city agendas, local businesses, other news outlets, and similar. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their practices.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Bridgeline is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every fact in it is complete or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hivetivity Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the newsletter or the site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version, and a material change will be mentioned in an issue rather than made quietly.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
