Privacy Policy

Effective August 3, 2026

Your privacy matters to us. The Bridgeline is published by Hivetivity Inc. ("we", "us", "our"), a newsletter covering local news in Johns Creek, GA. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

What we collect

When you subscribe to The Bridgeline, we collect your email address. That is it. We do not require your name, street address, phone number, or any other personal information to receive the newsletter.

If you contact us by email with a tip, a correction, or a sponsorship enquiry, we retain the contents of that correspondence.

How we use your information

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes. We will never spam you.

Email service provider

We use MailerLite to deliver the newsletter. Your email address is stored on their servers and is subject to their privacy policy in addition to this one. They process your address on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes.

Website analytics and cookies

We use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and see which issues get read. It does not set advertising cookies, does not follow you to other sites, and does not build a profile of you.

Third-party links

Issues link out to city agendas, local news reports, business websites, and similar sources. We do not control those sites and this policy does not cover them. Read their policies if you are concerned about how they handle your information.

Data retention

We keep your email address for as long as you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your address is removed from the active sending list. We may retain a suppression record so that you are not accidentally re-added by a later import, which is the standard practice for honouring an opt-out.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every issue, or by emailing us. You can also ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will action it.

Children's privacy

The Bridgeline is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has subscribed, email us and we will remove the address.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that materially affects how we handle your information, we will say so in an issue rather than quietly updating this page. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version.
